New Journey of Hope 2011 Information!

In Summer 2011 ECAS is once again sponsoring an Orphan Hosting Program:
Journey of Hope (JOH).
You and your family have a wonderful opportunity to open your hearts to an orphan child from another country and invite them to stay at your home during summer holidays. Many of these children have never experienced a nurturing family enviroment. Their lives can be impacted greatly by their time in your family home. We are looking for families in MN and neighboring states who would like to host an orphan child or children from Ukraine for the perioud of four weeks in August 2011. ECAS is a non-profit 501(c) 3 international adoption agency licensed in Minnesota that is dedicated to the welfare of the world's orphan children. We firmly believe that children have greater opportunity to reach their potential when raised in a safe and nurturing family environment. Since ECAS was founded in 1998 we have assisted more than 500 orphan children from around the world find a permanent, loving family in the USA. We currently place children from five leading countries in international adoption – China, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and Guatemala, and every year unite 50-60 orphan children with permanent families in USA. We offer direct adoption programs from Ukraine and Guatemala as well as work in partnership with other reputable agencies in the US to provide referral of children from the countries where ECAS may not have representation or accreditation. Our agency is committed to improving the quality of life for orphan children around the world by providing humanitarian aid and contributions to children in orphanages for whom adoption is not an option.

We work with adoptive families throughout the United States. We provide Minnesota residents, including families adopting domestically or working with another agency for international portion of the adoption, with expedient home studies, adoption training, dossier preparation, networking with agency of choice, and post-placement supervision.
