Journey of Hope 2004 Photo Album

The children leave their Russian orphanages and travel together for nearly two days before finally landing at the Minneapolis-St.Paul International Airport. When they arrive, they are travel-weary, nervous, a little curious, and ready to begin their experience. Each child is introduced to his/her host family through an interpretor.

Summer in Minneapolis...

Children get to experience being part of an American family for three weeks once they arrive in America. During the three week stay, events are provided for the hosting families to get together, relax, and have fun.

Departing Minneapolis for Russia...

Saying good-bye at the airport is never easy. Neither the children nor their host families will ever be same. Children have packed their belongings, additional things for their orphanage, and lots of great memories.
